Northfield Construction lifted their KCP Placing Boom in order to continue the higher floors of a 17-storey build.
The KCP KB-M32R Placing Boom is being used internally to pour floors and is raised using a self-jacking system.
“I’m more than impressed”, said Phil Bryan, MD of Northfield Construction. “I watched it go up myself, and it climbed smoothly and went together well”.
Graham Jones was on-site to support the lift of the boom for the 17-storey RC Frame. Reflecting, Phil said, “Good parts and service support – any requests to Graham have been followed up quickly.” The KCP was originally supplied to Northfield as part of building the new Rolls Royce engine testbed in Derby, where it poured 40,000m3.
