The first Hardox steel hopper was on this KC3 Mixer, developed with KC3 engineers, MC Truck and Bus and Volvo. This design was specially made to meet 32 tonne weights regulation while increasing build quality.
The engineers worked with Volvo Trucks dealer MC Truck and Bus to bring the KC3M8 Mixer to market, a durable volumetric concrete mixer exceeding UK and EU regulations through the innovative use of Hardox steel produced by SAAB of Sweden.
